About Us

Who We Are

Designtronics is owned by Jim Moran. Jim is a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, Nevada and has seen it grow from a small town to the thriving metropolis it is today. Jim’s background in electronics goes back to his junior high and high school days where he was always tweaking the audio and electronics gear of the bands in which he played. While attending UNLV, he studied Acoustical Engineering and Sound Engineering. He was instrumental in establishing their radio station, KUNV, which is still on the air today and was their first Programming Director.
